Personal Trainer & Fitness Expert
Fiona is an experienced, qualified Personal Trainer, founder of Fit & Fabulous and mother of two children; both of whom have disabilities. Leaving the corporate banking industry in 2011 to peruse her dream career, Fiona has used her knowledge to help clients succeed in juggling busy home and work life with healthy living.
Having two children with disabilities bring many challenges to her family life. However, a strong passion for nutrition and fitness has helped increase her overall wellbeing, happiness and reduce stress. Endurance and strength resistance training complement her love for running and cycling.
In 2012, she became a member of a local Glasgow running club and currently competes in track, road and trail races varying from 5km to ultra-marathon distances. She also enjoys team events such as relay cross country races in the winter months. A road bike enthusiast, she enjoys weekly cycles and has competed in standard and sprint distance Triathlons.
She has found time to promote and fundraise for Glasgow Children Hospital, Campsie View School in Lenzie and Pitt Hopkins Syndrome. She has competed in 5km and 10km road races pushing her eldest child in his ‘Mountain Buggy’ to increase awareness of disability and the importance of fitness in women and parents.
She is considered a perfect role model by many of her friends, family and clients and has vast experience of helping others also achieve their goals in life.
“My own personal core values are authenticity, health, happiness and love. I’ll be honest with you, educate you in health and fitness to hopefully help you lead a happier lifestyle and love life.”
